BBQ Fever

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 September 2026

This policy explains how BBQ Fever handles information when you play the game. BBQ Fever is published by Softkey Solutions Ltd.

1. Overview

BBQ Fever is a game available on supported mobile platforms. You do not need to create an account to play.

2. Personal Data and Advertising

You do not need to create an account or provide personal information to play BBQ Fever. We do not directly collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data on our own servers. However, BBQ Fever displays advertising through Google AdMob (see Section 4). Serving those ads means Google and its advertising partners can collect device identifiers such as your advertising ID, your IP address, and other technical data. Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, these identifiers can count as personal data even when the ads shown are not personalised. The optional leaderboard and achievements are provided by Apple Game Center and Google Play Games (see Section 5). We do not otherwise collect or share personal data beyond what is described in this policy.

3. Local Game Data

The game stores your level progress, earned stars and points, stoves and item inventory, best weekly level score, daily bonus timing, which tutorials you have seen, your language choice, and your sound setting locally on your device. It also keeps simple on-device counters, such as how many levels have been played since the last full-screen advert, so it can space adverts out. This local data is not an account, is used only to provide game features, and is not sent to us.

4. Advertising

BBQ Fever displays banner adverts provided by Google AdMob during gameplay and on the level-select and shop screens. These banner ads are not optional and appear automatically. BBQ Fever also shows full-screen interstitial adverts provided by Google AdMob after some levels, which are not optional, and offers optional rewarded adverts you can choose to watch for in-game bonuses such as doubling your points, continuing a level, opening the daily chest, or spinning the prize wheel.

To deliver and measure these ads, Google AdMob and its advertising partners may process data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address (which can indicate your approximate location), general device information, and app interaction data related to ad delivery, such as which ads were shown and whether they were tapped.

On iOS, BBQ Fever does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is not made available to AdMob and BBQ Fever does not track you across other companies' apps and websites. On Android, AdMob may use your device's advertising ID. You can limit ad personalisation at any time from your device settings: on iOS under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and Apple Advertising, and on Android under Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads on some devices), where you can also reset or delete your advertising ID.

For more information about how Google handles this data, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

5. Leaderboard and Achievements

BBQ Fever offers an optional weekly leaderboard and achievements through Apple Game Center on iOS and Google Play Games on Android. If you are signed in to Game Center or Google Play Games, the game sends your level scores and unlocked achievements to Apple or Google, and your player name and scores may be visible to other players on the leaderboard. If you are not signed in, nothing is sent and the game works the same way without these features.

Apple and Google handle this data under their own privacy policies, and we do not receive it on our own servers. You can sign out, or control who can see your profile and activity, in Game Center settings on iOS or in your Google Play Games profile settings on Android. For more information, see Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Children

BBQ Fever is not intended to collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can investigate.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this policy when BBQ Fever changes. Before releasing any version that adds accounts, analytics, cloud sync, purchases, or new third-party services, we will update this policy and the relevant platform store disclosures.

8. UK and EU Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies to you, you may have rights relating to your personal data, including rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. This includes data collected by Google AdMob as described in Section 4. You can manage ad-related choices through your device's advertising settings (see Section 4), and leaderboard and achievement sharing through your Game Center or Google Play Games settings (see Section 5). Contact us using the details below for any other privacy question or concern.
